over power 8472 fleet

Just wondering if others have had this, i need to unlock a last planet 3-7-13 which is a battle one. The strength of the 8472 fleet is 395k and my fleet is 398k but they absolutely destroy my fleet they, usually end up with 3 ships left. I have never lost to a weaker fleet before.

Hello,

The strength is just one of the reference in the battle, the real damage depends on many factors. So when the strength is close, player may failed in the battle.
