Virtual battle not ending

Battle ended but stuck with just winning fleet, needed to close and reload game to continue. During the battle a blue square box appeared on screen, something about Officer but I was to slow to read details

after first fault the fleets stopped updating text of which fleet in battle, game text always showed fleet 1 in battle regardless of which fleet fighting
