Faction Auto attacking Clones

I recently heard that the faction who occupies a base, the AI auto attacks the clones on the colonies of apposing factions. I'm calling a stupid BS move on that part when the game got updated a few months ago. That part needs to be removed because all of us are getting sick and tired of having use a clone item to update the clone defense.

It is the species 8472 that attack you colonies so i heard and they have been doing it for over a year at least.
