Asked a few times in general chat but no answer. how do they raise toughness when in battle? it seems to help the other fleet a lot

Toughness is Tenacity. You'll need to increase your tenacity on your flagship in order for stat bonus's to be transferred to affiliates.....Generally speaking, a 4 pt incrase in a flagship stat will grant a 1 point increase to your associated affiliate.. the other way is to increase each affiliate by raising it star level..
