Game Won't Allow Me to Pass Quest

I've been stuck on the same main quest of defeating Lyon in the Trial 1 for the past couple of weeks. The thing is, now I'm leveled up to level 49- a whole 19 levels past the recommended for Trial 1. I have passed all 13 battles in both the Easy and Difficult modes, multiple times, and it still will not register that I have passed them on the sidebar, and therefore will not allow me to move on to new quests and challenges. I have tried redoing Trial 1 many times, please help!!!
