In this game you need to 2nd awaken to see how many shards you have on your characters. sometimes i feel like i wasted my awaken materials just to see if i have enough to get it to awaken lv.3
I believe you should see your shards before you decide to use the character.
this screenshot shows where i think they should add shards so you can see how many you have seamlessly.
by having it in the details you can see how many you have of that character. also the red shard button can take you to an interface with all shards you own!
