Due to very low turnouts for the event I'm afraid I am going to cancel it for the time being, I am looking at other forum event opportunities so check back shortly!

I have to agree with the guys above, but making a change could be something which helps. The thing is, if Ipvan makes changes what changes could he make which allows everybody to take part fairly.

I think the people on this forum could come up with an idea for an event which could help players to get involved.

I like the idea of multiple events within one event, and only one person withing that time frame could win, and only win once per day. I know the guys here could create a great event given the input players give on the forum. Maybe Ipvan could create a Post on the forum asking for ideas and making the post itself a working idea which allows for a discussion to take place and have a group of players talking about the idea as a whole instead of multiple ideas at once. Something like, A post asking for ideas, then a poll on the ideas put forward and then once everybody has voted, players talk about improving the idea so it can run on the forum?

Ipvan already has experience of doing this so I know he will get something you guys want up and running.

Excellent idea. A forum event is worthwhile imo, but not the way it was before, will make a thread where you can provide feedback.

Was mich und viele andere an diesen Forenevents stört, ist nicht nur der Zeitfaktor sondern die Frage, die mir von Mitspielern immer wieder gestellt wurde: Wo zum Geier finde ich diese Events? Und was muss ich da am Ende wirklich tun???
Wir sind jetzt übereingekommen, dass wir die Forenevents komplett ignorieren....
Nicht nur dass es als unverschämt empfunden wird, dass wir als zahlende Kundschaft so etwas zu lesen kriegen:
"und jetzt das ganze auf deutsch oder könnt ihr das nicht"
Schaut mal bei Trivia Event rein und lest euch das mal durch...

Als Kunde, wenn ich etwas nicht richtig verstanden habe, möchte ich an die Hand genommen werden und einen freundlichen Jemand haben, der es mir das dann noch mal verständlicher erklärt...und nicht solche Aussagen lesen müssen!!!
Als Betriebswirt weiß ich genau, dass man mit Kunden freundlich umzugehen hat, sonst ist man sie los... und ihre Freunde und Bekannten auch!
Aber nicht missverstehen, denn ich habe großen Respekt davor, dass sich Ipvan diese ganze Mühe macht.
Trotzdem wäre ein Foren Event mit Sicherheit besser besucht, wenn man sich nicht bis irgendwohin durchklicken müsste und zB. ein Link mitgesendet worden wäre.
Auch wäre eine bessere Hilfestellung für Unwissende und Falschversteher vonnöten ;-)

Discord is where it's at, if you have questions where to find it you can ask, or reference the post in this section directing you how to join Game Samba's Discord channel (which is pinned and highlighted at the top of this forum section) I don't work for Samba, am simply a volunteer with them and am happy to help whenever possible, however, if you want to join these events, the player also has to do their part if they wish to participate.
