I understand that some elements of the game represent virtual simulations (with the virtual simulation of a game no less) and essentially offer no risk to the players and require no resources other than our time. It is absolutely fair that these activities offer no experience - they have alternate rewards anyway.
However, there are a number of activities where our fleets get the stuffing knocked out of them, forcing a continuous resupply of Affiliates and a corresponding drain on metal and build queues. So why do these activities (Battles in Ship Debris, Looting Planets & Chest Event in particular) not award affiliate ship experience points?
