Stuck in Squadron War

I got stuck upon entry to Squadron War. I couldn't move from squadron base because it said my fleet is "busy", I couldn't leave because my fleet group was "busy". Other information to note that might be causing this issue, this was my main first fleet that went to a battlefield of a planet that I had not yet unlocked with story points. Also my second fleet was engaged in a cruising mission at the time. Either one of those things might be causing this bug or its something else alltogether. Thankfully the war ended quick so i was released upon the war ending
