Autoplay Bug

So I'm as soon as you get to lv in this game leveling up in the game starts to slow down significant. I can't do the quests from lv 40 and up without leveling up independently first which in my opinion is a very nice feature, I wont say why because that's not what this post is for. When I try to auto-play for 1 to about 3 instances on an enemy it seems like I'm getting a fair bit of exp, but as I set the number of instances running for the enemy higher Its as if the exp gained per instance is being reduced causing me to get a lot less exp then I should be getting for auto-playing say for 30 instances at once then doing each one of them separately, one at a time.
